At Mako Radio, Nova Southeastern University’s student-run station, I developed and produced live radio content while hosting night shows under the persona DJ Caramelo. I curated playlists and structured segments designed to create an engaging and immersive listening experience, focusing on audience connection and overall show flow. Through these broadcasts, I strengthened my ability to produce live content, adapt in real time, and maintain a strong on-air presence.
In addition to live radio, I contributed to Off the Record, a variety-style podcast, where I helped produce and write a dedicated sports segment. This role involved researching topics, developing engaging content, and delivering a structured segment within a broader show format. The experience strengthened my skills in content creation, scripting, and collaborative production.
As a watersports coordinator at BouYah Watersports, I was responsible for delivering a high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. My role focused on ensuring guests felt welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their visit. I worked directly with customers to address questions, resolve concerns, and create a positive atmosphere for everyone involved. Through daily interactions with a wide range of personalities, I developed strong communication and problem-solving skills while maintaining a professional attitude and commitment to excellent service.
At PantherNOW, FIU’s student news publication, I cover FIU athletics through game recaps, previews, and feature stories. My reporting includes conducting interviews with players and coaches to provide deeper insight into team performance and program development. I also produce profiles that highlight the journeys and leadership of athletes and coaching staff, bringing a human element to FIU sports coverage.Alongside my written coverage, I am developing a podcast centered on FIU sports, creating a platform for deeper discussion of team performance, athlete stories, and the FIU athletic community.

This blog serves as a personal fitness journal where I document my workout journey and the lessons I’ve learned through my Exercise and Sports Science studies at FIU. I write openly about my daily training, how my body responds to different movements and workouts, and how I feel both physically and mentally throughout the process. By applying concepts from my coursework to my own training, I aim to better understand what works, what doesn’t, and how science translates into real-life performance.
